Entryway Before

A little project I’ve been working on bringing this 90’s living room and entryway a little modern update. It was so much fun to see these spaces receive a total refresh from the walls to the floors to the furniture.

Getting rid of the bulky oversized and dark furniture went a long way in brightening up a naturally dark space and keeping te accesories to a minimum helped declutter the space as well. Ooooh, she’s so pretty!

A Little Before and After Magic

Residential Design

Here is a look at designs that inspire me.  Although I like a good neutral, I also like that unexpected pop of color.

My design style changes frequently and I like to move furniture around and swap out throw pillows and other small décor items to freshen my own home.   I’ve also been known to paint a little too often! I just love what paint can do to transform a room or object.

I’m big on incorporating nature in my designs and love to use plants.  This is a good way not only to add some natural color to rooms but plants are also good for adding oxygen and purifying the air in your home.  I especially like to use them in bedrooms for this reason.  If you don’t necessarily have a Green Thumb (psst I don’t) there are lots of plants that are very low maintenance and easy to sustain.
